Visa Services for Foreigners Married to Indian Citizens

Foreign nationals who marry Indian citizens are eligible for conversion of existing visas to Entry (X-1) Visa and subsequently for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card registration after 2 years of legal marriage.

Key Guidelines:

• Registered Marriage Certificate under Special Marriage Act or Personal Laws
• Indian Spouse Passport / Aadhaar / Voter ID
• Joint photo proof and residence verification
• e-FRRO application for X-Visa extension/conversion
